'80S AMAZING SHOTS
In the first half of the 80s, wide, plastic-framed eyeglasses were for both men and women.
The little metal-framed glasses returned again in 1984 and 1985, and in the late 80s they were fashionable in turtle shell colors. These new fashions are smaller and oval than the previous ones.
In the 80s, Ray-Ban Wayfarer glasses became popular with Tom Cruise's Risky Business in 1983. The sales of Ray-Ban Pilot's glasses were up 40% with Maverick and Iceman, released in 1986, for the film Top Gun in Fame, Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer. Michael Madsen used these glasses in his films.
