What is The Great Wave off Kanagawa?

The Great Wave off Kanagawa is a woodblock print by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai. It was published sometime between 1829 and 1833 in the late Edo period as the first print in Hokusai's series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. The image depicts an enormous wave threatening three boats off the coast in the Sagami Bay (Kanagawa Prefecture) while Mount Fuji rises in the background. Sometimes assumed to be a tsunami, the wave is more likely to be a large rogue wave.

Super stylish and the wave pattern is just killer. I’ve been getting compliments everywhere. Took one star off because the delivery was a tad late 9 days, but the shoes made up for the wait

These sneakers are fire, no doubt! The design is like nothing else out there. Only gripe is that they were a bit tight at first, but they've loosened up now. Still, one of my best buys this year
